An app that lets users watch Netflix on their Nintendo Switch console has been created in just two weeks by a trio of students at the University of Michigan, according to a blog post on the company’s website.
The app lets users browse and stream movies and TV shows, and is part of a series of tools that Netflix uses to connect users with content they want to watch.
The company launched the app on its website in late August, with more than 100,000 users signed up to get their hands on the free tool.
The team behind the app says they wanted to share their enthusiasm for the platform with others, which they say has allowed for a strong community around the tool.
Netflix also launched a series called Netflix Plus that lets people watch movies on their devices.
The startup says it plans to expand its service with more content.
